First Game under the Knife!

I better get off to a good start. The last couple of days I have tried to reach 2100 in rapid on Lichess playing 10+5. Maybe a bit short time control for doing real analysis, but I think the game features some interesting elements. Especially the pawn ending which I completely misjudged and thought I was playing like a genius, but the truth hurts..

After the game I looked for some new ideas on how to meet this Dutch setup, and I found an instructive Karpov game. Karpov played 4. Nbd2 instead of 4. Nc3, then trading of the Knight on f6 to push e4 and castle Queen side.

What a nice attack and mate by Karpov!
